Physical appearance: Draco’s hair is the first thing people notice about him. It is obnoxiously blond and he has been accused of dying it more than once; however, the colour is entirely natural, inherited from both his parents. Draco’s eyes are grey and fairly unexpressive. Again, they are a family trait. Draco’s pale skin is entirely the fault of a childhood spent indoors and, while he now has the option of going outside, he keeps his skin pale in an attempt to keep from freckling, something which he’s prone to do in direct sunlight.
What have they been doing since graduation/during the war?: Draco never finished his education. Instead, he reads as many textbooks and manuals as he can. He still has access to his trust fund, something he hopes was a deliberate act by his father and not just Lucius forgetting about the vault in Gringotts, and survives off of it. He doesn’t know what he’ll do when the money runs out, but he hopes the war will be over by then.
What is their current living situation?: Draco doesn’t stay in one place for very long. Over many years of trial and error, he’s learned to survive for a few days without staying in an inn, but will only resort to camping in a life and death situation.
Descriptive personality: Born prematurely, Draco was forced to stay indoors and to develop a quick tongue to save himself from the insults of his parent’s friends’ children. He is a very proud person and, like most people as full of themselves as he is, he hates being made a fool. His pride is very important to him, although what he is proud of has changed over the years. His arrogance stems from a childhood full of praise from his mother, who he loves dearly. Family is very important to Draco; he was taught that it was everything. He still carries many of the prejudices he was taught as a young child and, while more open to the suggestion that they may be somewhat false, his belief in Pureblood ideals is ingrained into him. Despite these traits, dismissing Draco’s capability for good would be a poor choice. Dumbledore’s final words to him in his sixth year have haunted Draco since he first heard them. He knows now that he is not a murderer. After nine years of brutal war, he has yet to kill anyone, preferring to run as fast and as far as he can.
Allegiance and reason why. Did anything happen to influence it?: The side of the war Draco’s on is ambiguous, to say the least. He is more than convinced that both sides would rather he were out of the picture. He failed to perform his duty for the Dark Lord, and he attempted to kill Dumbledore multiple times, not to mention his use of the Imperious and failed murder attempts which caused damage to his fellow students in sixth year. Draco runs. The only people he trusts are his mother and Severus Snape, although he didn’t write to his former potions professor for a year after he was revealed as a spy.
